Starting something new, or restarting something after some time can be hard and scary. I strive to create an environment that cultivates not only a sense of safety, but also provides you with skills to make changes and heal.
Together we’ll explore how your thought patterns influence your feelings and subsequent behaviors, and work on changing core beliefs. Additionally, by utilizing mindfulness techniques we’ll focus on the mind/body connection.

Session frequency depends on what you're bringing to the counseling space to discuss. Typically, people start out by attending weekly or biweekly sessions lasting approx. 55-60 minutes. Clinical appropriateness of frequency of sessions is something we'll discuss together.

Our first few sessions will focus on getting to know each other. I will ask some questions, including what brings you to counseling and what you'd like to see change in your life as a result. This is also an opportunity for you to learn about my experience and how I can help you.
You can expect to gain skills to manage emotions, cultivate better relationships, and improve functioning in your life areas.

I accept out-of-network benefits and private pay. I also work with Uwill and Spring Health.
If you will be utilizing out-of-network benefits provided by your insurance carrier, I will provide you with the necessary documentation to submit for reimbursement.
